What does the recruitment process involve?
We have a pretty simple 6 step process that occurs when you apply for a role with us:
1. Apply for a job – hand your resume in store or online
2. We get in contact – if your application is successful
3. Face to face inteview with a manager instore
4. Reference checks – the manager will contact your references
5. You are invited to a 2 hr unpaid trial in store
6. You got the job! – if you are successful, you will be contacted and offered a role. If your unsuccessful, you will be called an informed.
What do we mean by the availability & preferred number of hours section in the application?
Think about the hours you are available to work. Taking into consideration school, sports, study, outside commitments. Also letting us know the amount of hours you need to reach each week for your financial needs, allows us to make sure the role suits you.
Minimum age requirements
Our minimum age requirement is 14 years. We have found students in grade 10 and above are suited for the type of work in the junior role.
I've been for an interview - what should I expect?
Our interviews are focused on getting to know you. You will be invited to the cafe for either a group interview or 1-1 interview. Both types of interviews are a chance for us to get to know you.
